Everything your renovation includes, with no one for you to coordinate.

Glass curtains for terraces
Turn your home terrace into an extra room without giving up light or views. The tempered glass panels open fully on fine days and shelter from the levante and rain the rest of the year, gaining usable metres that are already yours.

Glass curtains for balconies
On balconies and penthouses across the Bay, even on high floors exposed to wind, we install glass curtains with reinforced anchors and quality tracks. You gain a sheltered, quiet space without closing off the panorama or cluttering the façade with profiles.

Glass curtains for hospitality and businesses
For bar, restaurant and café terraces, glass curtains extend usable capacity every month of the year: you shelter customers from wind and rain without losing the open-air terrace in summer, when you simply fold the panels away.

What you ask us most.
What's the difference between a glass curtain and an aluminium enclosure?
A glass curtain is tempered glass panels with no vertical profiles: they fold away leaving the terrace fully open and the views clean, but they don't insulate thermally. An aluminium enclosure has profiles and operable windows, insulates far more from cold and noise, and turns the terrace into a sealed room. We choose one or the other depending on whether you prioritise opening fully and keeping the panorama, or complete insulation.
How much do glass curtains cost in Cádiz?
Folding glass curtains run from about 250 to 400 euros per installed square metre, and sliding ones from 250 to 380 euros. The final price depends on the opening size, height, glass type and fittings. We visit your terrace, take measurements and give you a fixed written quote, with no obligation.
Do glass curtains insulate from cold and noise?
They noticeably reduce wind, rain and noise, and create an air chamber that tempers the space, but as they have no thermal-break profiles or airtight sealing, they don't insulate like a window or an aluminium enclosure. If you'll use the terrace as a living room all winter and need full insulation, we'll recommend a glazed aluminium enclosure.
Can they be installed on balconies, penthouses, porches or patios?
Yes. We install glass curtains on terraces, balconies, penthouses, porches, winter gardens and inner patios. On high-floor balconies and penthouses we reinforce the anchors for wind exposure; on porches and patios we adapt the tracks to the existing structure. In every case we take measurements to make each panel to fit the opening.
Do they withstand the levante wind?
Yes, provided they are properly installed with quality tracks and reinforced anchors. We engineer our glass curtains to withstand wind loads above standard levels, accounting for the levante gusts typical of Cádiz, which can exceed 80 km/h for days. On very exposed upper floors we assess the most suitable system case by case.
Do you make glass curtains for bars and hospitality terraces?
Yes, it's one of our regular jobs. Glazing a bar or restaurant terrace lets you use it twelve months a year, extending capacity in winter without losing the open terrace in summer. We coordinate the installation to minimise closed days and advise you on your council's terrace regulations.
Do I need a permit and how are they cleaned?
As they are usually considered a movable element, glass curtains tend to have a simpler process than a fixed enclosure, though it depends on your municipality and residents' association; we advise you case by case. Cleaning is easy: the panels rotate on themselves so you can clean both faces with ordinary glass cleaner.
Glass curtains are tempered glass panels without vertical profiles that fold and stack to one side, leaving your terrace or balcony completely open in good weather and protected from the levante wind, rain and noise the rest of the year. Unlike an aluminium enclosure, they keep the panorama intact —with no mullions cutting the sea view over the Bay of Cádiz— and usually involve a simpler permit process, as they are considered a movable element.
The big advantage of the glass curtain over a traditional aluminium enclosure is the absence of vertical profiles: when opened, the panels stack away to one side, and when closed, the view stays clean, almost invisible. It is the ideal solution in Cádiz for terraces and penthouses with sea views, where the panorama is part of the home's value and you don't want to break it up with mullions.
We work with 8 and 10 mm tempered safety glass, stainless steel fittings and tracks certified for coastal environments, because the salt and humidity of the Bay demand top-quality materials. We offer folding glass curtains —which stack away completely— and sliding ones, and each installation is measured to fit your terrace, adapting to the floor and wall irregularities of local buildings. If you need full thermal insulation, we'll recommend an aluminium enclosure; if you prioritise opening fully and keeping the view, the glass curtain is your option.
