Do aluminium shutters withstand salt air better than PVC?

Yes. Foam-filled aluminium with protective lacquer resists corrosion much better than PVC, which tends to discolour and warp under the intense sun and salinity of Cádiz. Additionally, aluminium slats are more rigid and resistant to wind impacts. In the long run, aluminium is more cost-effective because its service life is significantly longer.
